Congratulations to all and bravo on your committed performances!
This was the most substantial con spirito concert programme to date, a testament to the developing skills and progress of our talented students. We enjoyed varied repertoire ranging from Handel to tango, via some old favourites including an expressive Schubert Piano Trio in B flat slow movement and a thrilling Dvorak Piano Quintet first movement. More unusual pieces also featured, including Arensky's exciting 2 cello quartet and Paul Juon's delightful Miniatures for Piano Trio. The audience was totally engaged and gave each group a fantastic reception.
Well done everyone on your communicative and colourful performances and for raising money for our two chosen charities: YoungMinds and NNLS Drop In for Asylum Seekers.
