Exciting new project at Mary Feilding Guild

We are delighted to announce the launch this January of our exciting new project at Mary Feilding Guild, a residential home for active elderly people in Highgate. We will be taking small groups of students to the home on occasional Sunday afternoons to share their chamber music pieces and interact with residents. Students will talk with residents about their musical ideas, discussing the emotional narrative and the conveying of expression in performance, and some of our students will also devise pieces together with the residents. We are really looking forward to bringing young and old together in this beneficial way.
