Wonderful Wigmore Weekend

'I felt it was one of the best musical opportunities I had ever experienced'

'The hall has an incredible ring to it. You play to the hall and it seems to play back'

'What a space to play in!'

'It was so much fun!'

Our weekend of Wigmore Hall events on 16 and 17 November was a fantastic experience for everyone! It was thrilling for our students to sit in the audience on Saturday evening, listening to the Nash Ensemble perform inspiring Schubert, knowing that the very next day we would be playing on that famous stage.

On Sunday everyone arrived full of excitement. All of our student groups had performance time on stage as well as workshops in the Green Room and we were really proud of the focus and engagement of every single student throughout our visit. There was a fantastic, supportive atmosphere, with everyone offering helpful feedback and showing a truly collaborative chamber music spirit. Our enormous thanks go to Daisy and Wallis from Wigmore Hall Learning for enabling this invaluable experience.

Thanks to the kind generosity of Wigmore Hall, the Cavatina Trust and the Nash Ensemble, con spirito students have enjoyed two concerts this November at Wigmore Hall. We'd like to say a huge thank you for providing our students with this opportunity to hear world-class chamber music live from the Pavel Haas Quartet and the Nash Ensemble.
